Hey everyone 👋
SureCookie Core is officially live. Every piece you need to run a real cookie consent setup, no code, no guesswork, is in this release: automatic policy pages, real script blocking, and a preference modal your visitors can actually understand.
Let’s get into it.
What’s new
A Cookie Policy page that writes and maintains itself SureCookie generates a dedicated Cookie Policy post type on your site and keeps it current as your scanned cookies change, so you’re never shipping a policy page that’s out of date with what your site actually does.
Scripts get blocked before consent, automatically Any script, embed, or <object>/<embed> element on your site is detected and held back until a visitor consents, including scripts loaded via type=”module”. You don’t have to tag anything by hand.
A preference modal your visitors will actually read Every line of banner and modal text is editable, translatable, and previewable live as you type, so you can match your site’s voice instead of shipping generic legal copy.
Better than before
- Cookie scans are now capped by a visible quota in your dashboard, so you always know where you stand.
- New visitors get a 1-hour grace token before their consent choice is required, avoiding false “no consent” states on fast page loads.
- A new “Learn” section in your dashboard explains cookie compliance basics without leaving WordPress.
- Accessibility support added throughout the banner and modal, plus scroll support for longer policies.
- 20 languages now fully supported, including WPML/Polylang for your Cookie Policy page and admin labels.
Fixes
- Consent logs no longer choke on a REST parameter conflict.
- The banner’s Accept/Reject buttons no longer render with a delay.
- WordPress 6.7’s textdomain notice is gone.
- PDF legal text casing and custom CSS URL stripping issues are fixed.
We think you’ll like this one. Update when you’re ready.
As always, support is one click away if anything feels off.
